Amongst the alumni of the Malay College Kuala Kangsar, there were two Indonesians that were schooled in the illustrious institution. One is Bapak Ahlan Razif (Class of ’60) (seated in the first picture). The other is his younger brother, Dr. Amiroel Razif (Class of ’61). Both were the sons of the first Indonesia Ambassador to newly independent Malaysia (1957-1963), Bapak Mohammad Razif. Ahlan Razif himself became a Indonesian diplomat having served as the Indonesian Ambassador to Laos. He has since retired but still gives lectures to various organisations. His younger brother, Dr Amiroel Razif is a serving orthopedic surgeon providing orthopedic Surgery services in Dandenong, VIC, Australia.
