The New School Complex was built in 1954 to centralise the academic block into a common building. Previously, classes were held at the respective hostels of Big School, Prep School and King’s Pavilion. The New School was officially opened by Sir Donald Charles MacGillivray, the British High Commissioner in Malaya during the Golden Jubilee Celebration of MCKK in 1955.
