A big congratulations to Mohamad Hafiz Kassim (C’92, Sulaiman) on his appointment as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Employees Provident Fund (EPF), effective 1 August 2021.
Mohamad Hafiz has over 20 years of corporate experience, with a focus on real estate, capital markets, private equity, financial services and accounting.
He sits as a board member of Dialog Group Berhad, QSR Brands (M) Holdings Berhad, PLUS Malaysia Berhad and Battersea Power Station Development Company Limited. Mohamad Hafiz was the Managing Director of Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd.
He first joined EPF in 2008, where he was entrusted with several leadership roles within the investment division. He was the Head of Real Estate Investment Department since January 2020. Previously, he had worked with a number of reputable firms such as Daiwa Capital, PwC United Kingdom and Malaysia, as well as Telekom Malaysia, where he started his career as an investment analyst.
Mohamad Hafiz holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics), majoring in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a CFA charter holder.
