The MCKK Old Boys Weekend or OBW for short, is an annual homecoming event for the old boys of the Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK). The weekend starts on Friday and ends on Sunday at the Alma Mater whereby it is usually filled with games with the present students as well as with teachers of the College.

The exodus of former students of MCKK is a tradition that started way back during the weekend of 15-17 March 1929 and the tradition has carried on to the present days. The tradition of the homecoming event consist of friendly games between old boys and present boys, talks, concert show and a Dinner.

The 1st Old Boys Weekend culminated to a proposal for the formation of the Malay College Old Boys Association (MCOBA) at the Hall of the Big School and to be official registered later in the same year. The photo below was taken on 17 March 1929 of the 150 Old Boys who came back to relive their life as a ‘Budak Kolek” during the 1st OBW of MCKK. As truth be told, OBW homecoming never gets old for the Old Boys of MCKK.
