Class of 1972 Hi-Tea and Dinner

Celebrating 50 years after Prep School.

A high tea cum dinner gathering of Class of 1972 was held on to commemorate 50 years since some of us entered MCKK as First Formers in 1968. About 100+ (including 20+ wives) were in attendance. It was held at the Poolside of Wisma Perwira, perched on the hilltop along Jalan Padang Tembak. The night view of KL was fantastic. Each Class has its own unique experience & this Class was no different. In our case:

  1. We were the last to be enrolled (at least until 1972) into Form 1 in 1968.
  2. We stayed at Prep School for an additional year in 1969 when we were in Form 2.
  3. We experienced with 4 other Forms in being a totally Upper Secondary school (Forms 4 to Upper 6) in 1971.
  4. We became the “ramai-est” batch in 1971 with a total enrolment of 249 students when more students entered Form 4 making it 7 classes in total.
  5. We were the first Class to record 100% passes in the then MCE exams with Aziz Baba scoring a record 9As.
