Heartiest congratulations to Dato’ Shahrul Nazri Abdul Rahim (C’91) on his appointment as the new president/chief executive officer (CEO) of Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Bhd (EXIM Bank).
Shahrul Nazri has extensive experience in the financial services industry, leading large scale and complex transformation and change programmes, and holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) (Hons) from Anglia University, United Kingdom.
Previously, he was part of the senior leadership team in CIMB Group, supervising group corporate development and international business.
He was also Maybank’s regional investment banking and stockbroking business chief strategy officer, where he was involved in the Kim Eng Holdings acquisition in 2010.
Prior to that, Shahrul Nazri held senior positions in various places including Kenanga Holdings Bhd, Tune Money Sdn Bhd and was a founding member of iPerintis Sdn Bhd.
