Hazurin Harun is new Group CEO of Encorp Berhad

It gives us great pleasure to extend our warmest congratulations to Hazurin Harun (C’87, Idris) for being appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Encorp Berhad.

Hazurin started his career as an auditor in PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1996 and subsequently joined Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad in 1999 as an Operations Executive. In 2005, he joined Pembinaan BLT Sdn. Bhd., a company owned by the Minister of Finance Inc. as Financial Controller.

Hazurin joined Symphony Life Berhad Group from 2006 to 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. He is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Founded 2 March 2000 and listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 11 February 2003, Encorp Berhad is an investment holding and provision of general management support services company that is headquartered in Kota Damansara, Selangor, Malaysia. The Group’s holding company is Felda Investment Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (FIC), the investment arm of the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA), which holds a 64.38% equity stake.

Encorp’s core business is in property development while the Group also maintains diverse interests in construction management, retail mall and facilities management. Through the years, Encorp have increased its strength through the delivery of commercial and residential developments both in Malaysia and Australia. Encorps signature properties include The Strand in Kota Damansara, Encorp Cahaya Alam in Shah Alam, Encorp Marina Puteri Harbour in Iskandar Puteri and The Residences on McCallum Lane in Perth, Australia. Encorp’s commitment is towards building properties for the future and its developments are designed to be sustainable and environmentally friendly.
