Heartiest congratulations to Nizam Arshad (C’81, Idris) on his appointment as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
He brings with him more than 30 years experience as an employee with the last one being Chief Executive Officer of VADS Berhad before venturing into entrepreneurship.
He has extensive exposure in multiple roles ranging from training, application development, system support and solution management at all levels in local and MNC environments like TM, Nixdorf Computer, Mesiniaga, Celcom Berhad, IBM, Ericsson and Sun Microsystem.
Nizam’s principal accountabilities include strategic alignment, leading and ensuring functions like Infrastructure Development, Spectrum Planning, Universal Service Provision (USP, Postal, Courier & E-Commerce services in order to drive C&M industry growth.
