Heartiest congratulations to Tengku Dato’ Sirajuzzaman Tengku Mohamed Ariffin (C’89, Mohd Shah) for being appointed as the Malaysian Ambassador Designate to Romania from Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah.
Tengku Dato’ Sirajuzzaman Tengku Mohamed Ariffin began his diplomatic career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1997. Prior to this appointment, Tengku Dato’ Sirajuzzaman was the Deputy Director General (Political-Security) at the ASEAN-Malaysia National Secretariat, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also served as the Consul General of Malaysia to Hong Kong, China, from 2014 until 2019.
